Job Specification

The Graduate Programme for Babcock Infrastructure Services lasts up to 2 years. This consists of various placements based from our contracts in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, Yeovilton in Somerset and in the Thames Valley area.

Graduates will be attached to one base and seconded to other locations as business needs dictate.

To be considered for one of these key positions, you should be studying Business Management, Commercial, Economics, Marketing, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or similar subjects, and expect to achieve at least a 2:1.

There will be plenty of opportunities to progress very rapidly within BIS on successful completion of the programme. Current Graduates who joined in 2007 are making great progress both within the business and in their career development.

Starting salary will be at least £22,000 with twice yearly reviews plus benefits which include; pension scheme; opportunity to study for professional qualifications relevant to the business; discretionary bonus scheme; 25 days holiday plus statutory holidays, life assurance of 4 times salary and a financial contribution to the cost of living when working away from base site.
